The KG_ALLOW macro has some problems when one checks cases "that should not be checked". In particular, cases where the is only one intercept are not properly treated.
The fix here is to the macro, not MOSES itself.

Some sets of data will cause a Windows Machine to "hang" when
doing st_fcargo. The hang occurs due to a compiler bug when
computing x**b for large b and small x.
DATE: December 29, 1997 Discovered By: James Hudgins
This is a repeat of fix 507.017. Some data causes a PC to "hang". This is again a compiler bug which has to do with underflows and how this exception is handled. This is actually two fixes: the change for rc fixed one beam, but another beam caused a "hang". The fixes in computing temp fixed this.
These are particularly nasty. On both Window 95 and
Windows NT, when MOSES reaches the offending line, nothing
further will ever happen. On NT, one can recover by
"breaking" the job. On Windows 95, a reboot is required.
